Welcome to the Lab: A Note for the Leaders & Legends joining us 🛠️✨

Welcome to the SwiftReporter Community. If you’re reading this, it’s because you were hand-picked to join this group. We aren’t looking for thousands of passive users; we are looking for a core group of legends and leaders who are ready to rethink how this industry works in 2026.

I’m Evan, and along with my co-founder Stephen, we built SwiftReporter because we were tired of seeing good inspectors burnt out by “The Second Shift” and drained by the “Software Tax” of Silicon Valley giants.

What We Stand For:

  • Minimalism Over Bloat: We believe speed comes from what you delete, not what you add. We will always choose a clean, fast workflow over a cluttered “feature-heavy” mess.

  • The “Human-in-the-Loop”: AI should be your co-pilot, not your replacement. We stand for technology that acts as a safety net, catching what fatigue misses so you can stay accurate and defensible.

  • Choice Over Handcuffs: We believe you should own your workflow. Whether you use our Full Business Suite or a modular “App-Stack” with tools like Square, we are here to support your freedom, not lock you into an ecosystem.

  • Respecting Your Time: Our ultimate metric isn’t “time spent in-app”—it’s how quickly we can get you out of the app and home to your family.

How to get involved:

  1. Introduce Yourself: Tell us where you’re based and what your “Dream Workflow” looks like.

  2. The “Modular vs. Integrated” Debate: Check out our latest thread on the new Business Suite vs. Square and give us your honest take.

  3. Feature Requests: If a feature doesn’t help you move faster or live better, we probably won’t build it. If it does, we want to hear it.

This forum is a “Product Lab.” Your feedback directly shapes the code we write every single week.

Thanks for being part of the journey. Let’s build something that actually respects our time.

I’m a fairly new inspector in Texas (https://EcoScanHome.com) and doing this as a side-gig for now. I’m looking for something that helps me limit cost as a low-volume inspector, while helping me stay competitive.

Hi Jerry! Welcome to the community, and congrats on the launch of EcoScanHome.com (your website looks great). Starting as a side-gig is a smart move, and we designed SwiftReporter specifically to help you scale without heavy overhead.

To keep your costs low while you build your volume, I’d suggest looking at these two options on our pricing page:

  • Pay-Per-Report ($12.99): Perfect for low volume. If you don’t have an inspection, you don’t pay a cent.

  • Monthly Subscription ($39): One of the most affordable ‘unlimited’ plans in the industry once your schedule starts to fill up.

We’re also big on sharing resources to help you grow. Check out our blog for business tips, and stay tuned next week for a series on SEO and the like. And, reach out here or to me at anytime.

Glad to have you here!
Evan
