Hey everyone,
We’ve seen some chatter lately about how “locked-in” the SwiftReporter layout is. Some inspectors see a detailed sample report and worry that every report will be 50+ pages of bloat.
The truth: You are in total control of the output.
We’ve recently pushed updates to make our reports more condensed and professional. Here’s how you can take the wheel:
-
Kill the Bloat: Don’t like a massive ToC? Simplify it or turn it off.
-
Clickable Navigation: Digital reports now have internal hyperlinks—no more scrolling through 50 pages to find the “Plumbing” section.
-
Summary Filtering: Use the Notes feature for things that shouldn’t “scare” the client. Only the observations you flag will hit the summary.
-
Custom Branding: You can bring your own cover pages, move the summary location, and let the software auto-add your profile to every job.
The number of observations and the final “look” are entirely up to you. Whether you want a minimalist 10-page summary or a deep-dive technical manual, the software adapts to your style, not the other way around.

All the best,
Evan
